Workx adds two more

16 June 2008

Dutch rental company Workx acquired in May the companies Van der Linden Rentall and Dekker Rent, which operate four depots in the provinces of Brabant and Gelderland in The Netherlands. The acquisitions raise the number of Workx's depots to 55 and advance its expansion in the rental of building materials and wharf construction.

Van der Linden Rentall in Rosmalen is a specialized access rental company. Dekker Rent, which operates out of Harderwijk, Nijkirk, and Nunspeet, rents construction equipment, construction materials, and tools. It also has a division that builds steel and aluminium wharfs.

The acquisitions are the latest in a string that since 2006 includes PR rent, Cramo Netherlands, AA-verhuurcentrale, Huurcenter, Steimach verhuur, Amarent Bouwmachines, Bollen Bouwmachine-verhuur, Roos Verhuur, Rodijk Bouwmachines, BHS verhuur, Jaston Steigerbouw, Drentse Stalen Steigers, Hi-Reach, and Dokter Steigerbouw.

Workx said it will re-brand its latest acquisitions within a few months.
