XL hoist for tower cranes

21 April 2015

French mast climber specialist XL is launching the X-Up 200. It is a rack and pinion hoist specifically designed for tower crane access and to comply with the 200/42/CE European Standard.

Fast and fully automatic, it provides safe access for the crane operator with resistance to extreme conditions thanks to the robust components and corrosion-resistant finish.

The X-Up 200 can be adjusted so that the crane does not have to be modified in anyway. It includes a touch screen control panel which continuously displays system status.

Maintenance is carried out from inside the elevator cabin and is quick and easy to do. The mast is oiled by an automatic lubrication system. Assembling of the mast sections is safely caried out from inside the cab with 1.5 m or 9 m long sections. In that case, the installation is two times faster.

The cabin is nearly 1 square metre, two times bigger than current existing products. Payload is 200 kg, ample for two users. Elevation speed is 24 m per minute; maximum anchoring distance is 6 m; maximum height is 120 m.
