Japanese manufacturer Yanmar has promoted Peter Aarsen to the role of vice president of Yanmar Europe, effective January 1, 2013.

Mr Aarsen is promoted to his new role after serving five years with the company and he will share management responsibilities with current Yanmar Europe president Geert Jan Mantel. Mr Aarsen will also retain his position as president of Yanmar Marine International.

This appointment will help Yanmar to develop business opportunities in more countries and new market sectors.
