Heavy transport company Zwaar Transport Twente, from Rijssen in the Netherlands, has delivered a 28 tonne dairy silo from Germany to Bedum in the north of the country.

For the first stage of the transport, the silo was shipped on a vessel named Janina to Delfzijl, Groningen. The silo was 15.2 metres long and had a 4.7 m diameter. It was guided by two escort vehicles supplied by ZTT as it made its way towards the delivery location.

Along the route challenges such as winding roads and difficult turns had to be overcome. It was successfully delivered to the dairy factory.
