Rental experts light up ERA convention

The 12th ERA Convention and the IRE show took place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from 2 to 4 May.

Over the course of three days, 300 rental experts from Europe, the US, Canada and Australia gathered at the RAI Centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, for the ERA Convention.

The association’s 12th Convention took place alongside the International Rental Exhibiton (IRE) show from 2-4 May.

For the 4th time since the creation of the association, the ERA delegates met at the RAI but, this year, in a brand new extension, the Amtrium.

The Amtrium was totally adapted to the needs of the Convention and was placed adjacent to the exhibition hall where the IRE show was taking place.

ERA thanks all the participants to the ERA Convention and is proud that the equipment rental industry attracts so many companies.

The European Rental Awards Dinner also took place at the same venue on 3 May and celebrated the most successful rental persons and companies of the year.

After the Convention’s Guest Speaker, Dr Paul Redmond, gave his brilliant lecture about generations and graduate labour market. Pierre Boels, the president of ERA, concluded thanking Mr Redmond for his “engaging and entertaining speech”, mentioning that his speech “has opened new opportunities and will provide inspiration to all of us!”

Pierre Boels also announced that the 13th ERA Convention will be held in Vienna, on 23 and 24 May 2018.
