Leighton Contractors - New Perth Bunbury Highway

Leighton Contractors as part of the Southern Gateway Alliance (SGA) - raw materials supplier WA Limestone, design firm GHD and the client, Main Roads WA - has delivered Western Australia's single largest road construction project, the New Perth Bunbury Highway (NPBH). The NPBH project included construction of a 70.5 km-long dual carriageway road from the Kwinana Freeway Extension to Lake Clifton, and provides a major strategic link to the growing Peel and South-West regions. The design and construct AU$ 677 million (US$ million) contract started in December 2006 and finished in December 2009.
