NASCAR driver Kyle Petty will deliver the keynote presentation at the NDA's 35th Annual Convention in Las Vegas

The UK's Institute of Demolition Engineers will host a seminar on 29th February 2008, looking at unusual and challenging demolition projects. The event will be held at the Royal Armouries, Leeds, and papers that will be presented include a report on nuclear demolition, the salvaging of the motor ship Napoli, decommissioning of offshore oil and gas structures, the blowdown of multi-storey tower blocks, and the photography of demolition projects, as well as special effects in movies.
