UK manufacturer, Aldercote, has taken a 15m trailer boom set and adapted it for a Marooka 600 crawler base. The sub-frame and stabilisers were also designed by Aldercote and the machine has been CE marked.

The new unit is going to be out on hire, working where a standard chassis mounted or four-by-four vehicle could not manage the terrain.

Sales manager Richard Breeden said, "Due to EN280 and the rules regarding CE marking for vehicle mounted platforms Aldercote can help potential customers who require a special combination of platform and vehicles in getting the product to suit their specialist application."
