Lifting and transport giant Mammoet has bought a Sennebogen 643 R crawler crane.

The new crane has already been put to use at the quay of Sappi Nijmegen, a paper factory in eastern Holland, where it unloads pulp bales shipped from France.

Using its four-part hydraulic telescopic boom, the 643 R can empty the hold of a ship from the quay, moving alongside the vessel with its crawler drive.

Mammoet purchased the 643 R from regional Sennebogen dealer Kiuken N.V.
