Jay Electronique has launched a series of remote controls for access platforms.

The RadioLift range incorporates different models designed for each platform type and their working conditions. One its its main features is ‘multimode’, which allows the operator to activate different functions with the same buttons or joystick. For example, the same controls can be used to drive the vehicle and position the stabilisers, allowing the system to be more compact and user friendly, according to the France-based manufacturer.

RadioLift models are available for self-propelled rail, wheel and track-mounted platforms, as well as truck-mounts, scissor-lifts and permanent maintenance platforms. According to Jay, they are all ergonomically-designed and suitable for rugged environments.

Ease of maintenance is also incorporated into the range, thanks to its modular design and features like fault isolation, achieved by hooking the remote control up to a personal computer and using pre-installed maintenance software.

The automatic frequency channel search ensures the remote controls' commands are not disturbed and the bidirectional system provides real-time feedback of the working conditions. All models meet appropriate EN regulations.
