Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC) has opened a new full service equipment rental branch at the Missouri Ridge Commercial Park in North Dakota.

The new branch will service the oil fields of North Dakota and northeastern Montana, providing specialty equipment for producers, refineries and commercial construction. The 12720 sq ft (3800 m2) facility, located on a five-acre plot, replaces the firm’s Williston, North Dakota operations.

"North Dakota and the surrounding region is experiencing record levels of oil and gas production, particularly due to the Bakken and Three Forks Formations of the Williston Basin", said Lois Boyd, group president, HERC.

"As the Williston township is one of the prime hubs in the region, we have expanded our facilities and added new staff to meet the huge demand on our services".
