Danish manufacturer Time International has partnered with Volkswagen and AL-KO to offer its 3.5 tonne GVW lightweight Versalift platforms mounted on VW T5 Transporter chassis.

The T5 was a 3.2 tonne GVW vehicle, but it has been upgraded to the 3.5 tonne GVW class after being fitted with a reinforced AL-KO-chassis. The extra 300 kg means that the unit can mount larger lifts on the chassis, provide a larger range of optional equipment, and offer a larger spare payload. The 3.5 tonne GVW vehicle is accessible to operators with a regular drivers licence.

Time International is now able to offer a variety of different lightweight access platforms for the VW T5 with AL-KO chassis with working heights ranging from 10 m to 15 m.
