Tower Light srl renamed Generac Mobile Products

US company rebrands second European operation after acquisition of lighting tower manufacturer

Italian construction equipment manufacturer Tower Light and its sister company DF Ecology have been renamed Generac Mobile Products, 18 months after being bought by North American generator manufacturer Generac Power Systems.

The news follows a similar name change for Tower Light’s UK operation, now known as Generac Mobile Products UK, which was announced in January.

Generac acquired Tower Light in August 2013. As a result of that purchase, and its acquisition of US-based Magnum Power Products a year earlier, it describes itself as the largest mobile lighting tower manufacturer in the world.

As well as lighting towers, other products distributed under the Generac Mobile Products brand include dust suppression systems, vacuum assisted pumps, industrial heaters and a range of power generators.
