MCS has introduced its MCS Mobile application, which will be launched at Plantworx 2015 next week.

The company said the application gives customers the ability to provide their workforce with vital mobile access to their rental data and perform critical job functions from their choice of mobile device, wherever they are and whenever they want.

Rental managers can view a wide cross-section of information, including invoices, contracts and equipment data and obtain customer details such as CRM and financial data.

Meanwhile, rental personnel have the ability to access copy PDF invoices to email directly to clients and field engineers can download essential equipment specifications and manuals while onsite.

Guy van der Knaap, managing director of MCS, said: “MCS Mobile increases worker productivity, reduces downtime, supports real-time business decisions and ultimately enhances customer service.

“The main benefit for hire managers is that the application is available cross-platform, requiring no change to staff mobile handsets and minimal training and installation.”
