Ruthmann partners with mtandt in India

Rakesh Modi, managing director mtandt Group, shakes hands with Rolf Kulawik, managing director, Ruthmann.

mtandt Group has taken on distribution and service for Ruthmann Steiger truck mounted platforms in India.

mtandt, which also represents Teupen, Magni, Dingli and Omme, in the country will have a number of Steiger truck mounts available for demonstration to Indian customers, as well as exhibiting them at the upcoming Bauma Conexpo India in December.

Employees at mtandt will receive training at the Ruthmann factory in Gescher-Hochmoor, Germany, in terms of operation, maintenance and service.

Uwe Strotmann, Ruthmann sales director said, “We were looking for a professional, reliable partner in India and did not make our decision in an ad hoc way. Prior to the decision, we carried out extensive market research and visited various potential partners in India.”

Rakesh Modi, mtandt Group managing director added: “The Indian market requires premium products and Ruthmann Steger is well-known for their outstanding quality, uncompromising safety and top performance specifications. Our goal is to provide our existing business contacts an extended product portfolio and develop new customer contacts.”
