The United States-based National Demolition Association (NDA) has announced that its next estimating course will take place in San Jose, California, on March 2 and 3.

The association said: “Join the NDA and fellow demolition professionals to learn proven estimating techniques for a variety of projects in multiple industries.

“This is your opportunity to educate your staff on the ins and outs of estimating, and we have hands-on experience working through a real life project to develop an estimate during the course.

“Encourage your staff to attend this course and they will return to the office with strategies and tactics they can use to help your company compete and succeed in the industry.”

Estimating also featured at this week’s Demolition 2017 Convention and Expo. Mike Casbon of ERM and Greg Menen of Rocky Mountain Recycling giving a presentation on estimating tips to delegates, while a round table featuring leading industry figures Scott Homrich, Dennis McGarel and Scott Knightly talked about estimating as part of a wider discussion on costs in demolition projects.

The deadline to register for the San Jose course is February 16 and more details are available from the NDA website at www.demolitionassociation.com
