Mammoet works all over the world

Mammoet UK has opened an office in the South West of England to offer local support for the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station project.

It is in Bridgewater, Somerset, and will help with timely mobilisation of equipment, Mammoet said.

Commenting on the move, Matthew Gent, Mammoet UK managing director, said, “Hinkley Point C is an exciting project that will deliver significant economic benefits to the region. The new facility ensures Mammoet are well-positioned to support the specific needs of the project more efficiently across the plant’s lifetime.”

Tusk Lifting will also be at the new site, offering rental, sales, service, inspection and testing of lifting and material handling equipment.

Hinkley Point C is due to start powering more than 6 million homes in 2025.
