Holtby has over 13 years’ experience in technical sales, having started his career in non-ferrous metals. He joins Snorkel UK from Pirtek UK, where he held the role of sales development manager, with responsibility for managing and developing major national accounts, across a wide range of industries including plant and tool hire, access hire, construction and waste and environmental.

In his role as area sales manager, Holtby will have responsibility for Snorkel UK sales within the South West region, defined as the M3-M4 corridor, from his base in Weston-Super-Mare.

Of his appointment, Holtby said, “I have always been focused on providing the highest levels of customer service and excellent products to my contacts, and during my initial discussions with Snorkel UK, it was clear that they shared this same ethos. I was impressed with what I saw at Snorkel UK in terms of the quality products being produced at the UK factory, and the dedication and drive of the team.

“I am very much looking forward to getting out on the road to meet new and existing customers, and to be part of the exciting future at Snorkel UK.”

Andrew Fishburn, managing director of Snorkel UK, said, “The M3-M4 corridor is an area where many of our customers and targets are located, and with Scott’s focus on customer service, I am confident we can deliver even better levels of service to customers in this region.

“Scott is a professional who brings significant sales experience to our team, and he is already familiar with our industry through his time at Pirtek UK. We are excited to have Scott on-board.”

Holtby commenced his employment with Snorkel UK in early June and is field-based.
