ERA's statistics committee plans meeting

The statistics committee of the European Rental Association (ERA) will meet oince again on 5 September, in Birmingham, UK at the home of the rental association, HAE.

The meeting will be an opportunity for the committee members to review the status of the 2018 ERA Market Report.

Over the years, the ERA has tried to rely on the construction industry output and the country population to benchmark rental penetration. In 2017, the ERA initiated a research to define rental penetration based on equipment population with the data sources available in Europe.

For the first time in 2018, the ERA Market Report will provide an analysis on rental penetration based on sales of equipment units on a selected range of products categories: six products categories over 15 countries and over 10 years’ history. This project was conducted with Off-Highway Research.

The ERA Market Report 2018 will be conducted in co-operation with IHS Markit and will contain a country-by-country analysis of 15 European countries and key ratios including fleet size and investment.
