The investment in OG Hughes & Sons and MAP Enterprise follows the recent acquisition of US bridge inspection manufacturer Aspen Aerials.

OG Hughes and MAP will establish strong regional coverage for Time in the Southeastern US and have been rebranded in a new business unit called Versalift Southeast. Currently, the wholly-owned aerial lift distributor has a staff of 44 people, including sales, service, parts and administration professionals. It is spread across three facilities located in Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina. Each facility features workbays for upfitting, assembly and maintenance, paint and body repair facilities, parts warehousing and dielectric testing.

Time Manufacturing/Versalift’s expansion strategy has led to the acquisition of a number of partners, distributors and manufacturers in North America. Meanwhile, the company’s global export division, Time International, provides Versalift access equipment to markets outside of the US. “Versalift high-reach equipment is very well received in European, African and Asian markets,” said Per Cæsar Torp, director of sales and strategic planning at Time International. ”We continue to execute our globalexpansion strategy.”
