Norty Turner leaves Riwal

Riwal’s CEO Norty Turner has left the company, six and a half years after joining. Riwal made the surprise announcement this morning, saying that Turner had resigned ”to commence a new chapter in his career”.

Ellen Meijer, a member of Riwal’s board of directors, said; ”Norty Turner leaves Riwal in a very strong position for future growth and we sincerely thank him for his leadership, conviction and passion during his time as CEO and wish him a successful continuation of his career.”

Turner joined Riwal in 2012 following a successful career at Hertz Equipment Rental Corp (now Herc Rentals). Riwal said in its statement that under his leadership, and together with the management team, the company had been ”transformed operationally, commercially, financially, and culturally to become one of the strongest leading powered access rental companies.”

Riwal said it had started the process of recruiting a new CEO.
