JCB, the UK-based equipment manufacturer, has announced a deal with a British motor racing team. The company will partner with SportPesa Racing Point Formula 1 team, presenting sponsorship branding on the cars and drivers’ clothing.

JCB will provide its partner with machines that will aid in the construction of the F1 team’s new factory later this year. The company will also supply the team with power tools, access platforms, generators and other various equipment throughout the year whilst racing in Europe.

JCB chairman Lord Bamford said, “The popularity of Formula 1 gives JCB an excellent platform to promote our products on the international stage to both new and existing customers.

“We see great synergy with the Racing Point team; we both have a passion for pushing the boundaries of new technology and an ambition to succeed.”
