UK-based Nixon Hire has placed its largest single order of telehandlers with JCB, worth almost £14 million.

The 235 Loadalls it has bought from the manufacturer will be available at Nixon’s 22 depots across the UK, and they include the full range of JCB’s models, from the 6m 525-60 to the 20m 540—200.

Nixon Hire’s Managing Director, Graham Nixon, said, “Our decision to buy JCB was based on the quality and efficiency of the product as well as the excellent aftermarket support we receive from Scot JCB throughout the UK.”

He also highlighted the benefit of having telematics on the machines.

Yvette Henshall-Bell, JCB’s Group Managing Director of Global Key Accounts, said, “Nixon Hire and JCB are both family-owned businesses sharing many common values and I am glad that our long-standing partnership continues.”
