This adds to HKL’s existing specialist aerial platform centres in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Berlin.

The centre is strategically located with good connections to the BAB 2 autobahn and it has a range of high-reach equipment including scissor lifts, telescopic loaders, truck mounted work platforms and articulated telescopic platforms.

Among the machines available at the new centre are Haulotte’s HT23, which is the largest telescopic platform in the HKL Mietpark fleet with a working height of 23m; the Merlo Roto 45.21 telescopic loader; and Genie’s electrically operated scissor lifts, which are particularly well suited to interior work.

In addition, the centre offers security-relevant IPAF training courses, as a certified IPAF training partner.

Nils Drießen, Branch Manager Bielefeld, said, “With the HKL ATC in Bielefeld, we close the gap between the ATCs in Dortmund and in Leipzig. We offer even greater proximity and service to our customers. They now have shorter routes and we can deliver even more quickly.”
