On 20 September, the ERA participated in the 3rd international forum of rental and construction companies, organised by the Russian rental association, NAAST.

Era

This forum is a unique platform in Russia for the communication and exchange of experiences between representatives of the construction equipment rental industry.

The conference addressed topics related to the development of the rental market in Europe and in Russia, with Michel Petitjean, Secretary General of the ERA, presenting on the Construction Equipment rental trends in Europe and Gloria Gomez, from the company Gomez Oviedo and representing ASEAMAC, speaking on the role of the Spanish Rental Association.

Mikael Kämpe, EVP Ramirent Finland, reported on the trend in the Nordic countries where rental companies are selling more service than pure rental to their customers. The services are mostly related to the rental equipment but not always.

Carole Bachmann, Manager of the ERA, presented on how to choose and implement a CRM (customer relationship management) system, which was a project carried out by the Future Group. The CRM Guide is available on the ERA website, https://erarental.org/en/publications/position-papers-and-guidance-to-industry/crm-guide-choosing-and-implementing-a-crm-system.

NAAST is a member of the ERA, as well as 14 other rental associations.
