The OQTR-E range was developed as a collaboration between OilQuick and Engcon

Quick coupler manufacturer OilQuick is to show off its latest tiltrotator series at the ConExpo 2020 construction exhibition in the United States next month.

The OQTR-E range, which is already in full production, comprises five different models suitable for excavators from 6 to 33 t.

A collaboration between tiltrotator and accessories manufacturer Engcon, OilQuick said the new series was “the best of both worlds”.

“The companies have had a close collaboration for some time, but we have now chosen to extend it further,” said OilQuick CEO, Henrik Sonerud.

OilQuick is also launching a new version of its OQ LockSupport (OQLS) electronic monitoring system.

Like its predecessor, the new OQLS 2.0 guides the operator in attachment switching and locking and provide information via a panel in the machine’s cab. Complete with new sensors and improved, the OQLS 2.0 also features completely new software.

In addition, the company will also show a number of its new safety solutions, including a fall protection system and an MRL indicator that provides the machine operator with clear confirmation that the coupler’s locking plungers are locked.

OilQuick said that visitors would be able to see examples of the new OQTR-E series, together with several other products on stand F2876 at the ConExpo construction exhibition in Las Vegas.
