Innovation takes centre stage for Bobcat

Bobcat is underlining what it calls a “strong presence” at this week ‘s show with a specially designed Innovation Stage highlighting new products.

Bobcat E17e mini-excavator is one of three electric concept machines on show from Bobcat

These include three new concept machines - the E17e electric/hydraulic excavator; the S70e hybrid loader; and the all-electric compact T76e.

The company says the electric prototypes will be ideal for the indoor demolition market. With zero emissions and a lithium-ion battery, the are expected to work just as hard as diesel models but with fewer maintenance needs

Alongside the trio on stand N-10001 are Bobcat’s R-Series loaders, which are set to be launched in Europe later this year; R-Series 4 to 6 t mini excavators; E145 and E165 excavators; and Machine IQ wireless communications.

In addition, the Bobcat Maxcontrol system provides a new IOS (Apple) based plug and play remote control system that uses a smartphone to control Bobcat loaders.
