The show organisers of World of Asphalt, due to be held in Atlanta, US, in March 2021 have announced that the show has been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The next show will take place March 29-31, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee, US. The show is normally held every year, expect for when Conexpo is held every third year.

The show organisers have said that they are exploring the option of offering an all-digital education conference in 2021.

In an email Brittany Weltcheff, World of Asphalt and AGG1 Show Manager, wrote that, “Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to not hold World of Asphalt 2021 in Atlanta this upcoming March.

“Your health is our priority, and with more than 10,000 people gathering in an indoor space, we could not safely hold the event.”

Numerous construction shows have been forced to cancel or postpone due to the impact of Covid-19.
