Snorkel UK, the sales and service provider for Snorkel in the UK and Ireland, has named Scott Holtby as area sales manager for the South West.
Holtby has over 13 years’ experience in technical sales, having started his career in non-ferrous metals. He joins Snorkel UK from Pirtek UK, where he held the role of sales development manager, with responsibility for managing and developing major national accounts, across a wide range of industries including plant and tool hire, access hire, construction and waste and environmental.
In his role as area sales manager, Holtby will have responsibility for Snorkel UK sales within the South West region, defined as the M3-M4 corridor, from his base in Weston-Super-Mare.
Of his appointment, Holtby said, “I have always been focused on providing the highest levels of customer service and excellent products to my contacts, and during my initial discussions with Snorkel UK, it was clear that they shared this same ethos. I was impressed with what I saw at Snorkel UK in terms of the quality products being produced at the UK factory, and the dedication and drive of the team.
“I am very much looking forward to getting out on the road to meet new and existing customers, and to be part of the exciting future at Snorkel UK.”

Holtby commenced his employment with Snorkel UK in early June and is field-based.
