CRA names executive director

The California Rental Association has appointed Jeff Roberts as its new executive director, replacing Dale Blackwell, who passed away unexpectedly in April.

Roberts is the president of City Rentals in Ontario, CA and has over 44 years of experience in rental. Roberts joined City Rentals in 1976 as a janitor, eventually working his way up to yardman, service tech, counterman, driver, sales and president.

CRA staff members Vicky Blackwell and Carol Murphy said they are looking forward to a seamless transition and working closely with Roberts. “He brings with him many years of rental and vendor experience,” the CRA said in a statement.
