With a maximum throughput of more than 400 tonnes per hour, Metso's LT116 jaw crusher has joined the company's Lokotrack range of mobile crushing equlpment. The machine is fitted with Metso's new C116 jaw crusher and is designed to process hard rock and rock-based recycled materials elther as a standalone unit or in combination with other Lokotracks. It is also available as the LT116S, which sports a detachable screening system.

The new machine weighs in at 50 tonnes (110,000 lb) and has a transport width of 3 m (9.8 ft) and height of 3.6 m (11.8 ft). The crusher itself has a feed opening of 1.1 x 0.8 m (3.6 x 2.7 ft) that provides a maximum feed size of 0.7 m (2.1 ft). The machine can be fitted with a 6 m3 (8 yd3) hopper, but can be supplied with a 9 m3 (12 yd3) hopper as an option.
