The programme for the Europlatform access rental conference has been finalised with the addition of Peter Davis, E2E (End to End servicing) technical manager at Australian rental giant Coates Hire. Mr Davis will talk about the 10-year rule an Australian regulation which requires aerial work platforms to undergo a major inspection after 10 years.
Among the three new models to be shown by Italian manufacturer Socage at APEX is the A314 NAT (Natural Aerial Transport), which Socage believes to be the first all electric compact platform. It employs the company's A314, 13.2m working height boom, which offers a 6.5m outreach and a 225kg capacity.
