Awards shortlists – Contract of the Year under $1m

Today we are announcing the shortlists for the World Demolition Awards.

There are four Contract of the Year under US$1m contenders.

Congratulations to:

• Apex Demolition/C&D Consultants (United Kingdom) – for the “Banksy” Shoreditch project at 82-84 Great Eastern Street, London
• Despe (Italy) – for the north stand of the Atalanta Football Club stadium in Bergamo
• A second entry from Despe – demolishing a 32 m (105 ft) high water tank at PaviaAcque reservoir
• Liberty Industrial (Australia) – for the Hanson Blackwattle Bay concrete batching plant demolition

The World Demolition Awards take place on Thursday 12 November and are organised by Demolition & Recycling International in co-operation with the European Demolition Association and the National Demolition Association of the USA.
