This follows the company receiving confirmation that it is deemed an essential business as defined by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) on March 25.

The company had announced earlier in the week that it was closing its manufacturing facility in accordance with state governor Tony Evers’ “Safer at Home” order for non-essential businesses during the Coronavirus crisis, which was announced on March 23 and came into force two days later.

It also suspended shipping of parts and machine servicing for all businesses not classed as essential.

As an essential business, Exodus must comply with social distancing requirements, and is also encouraged to follow the WEDC’s best practice related to developing a COVID-19 response plan.

Office staff able to work remotely will continue to do so until the Safer at Home order is lifted.
