Contractors and equipment manufacturers have until June 30 to send in their submissions for these prestigious industry awards.

These are difficult and worrying times for the demolition and recycling industries, but you can still promote your company by putting forward projects or products started, completed or launched between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020, so it is still possible to promote your company’s achievements at this international industry gathering.

The categories are:

  • Civils Demolition
  • Collaboration in Demolition
  • Contract of the Year under US$1 million
  • Contract of the Year US$1 million or over
  • Explosive Demolition
  • Industrial Demolition
  • Manufacturer Innovation Plant and Equipment
  • Manufacturer Innovation Tools and Attachments
  • Recycling and Environmental
  • Safety and Training
  • Urban Demolition.

You can download an entry form from the Awards section of the World Demolition Summit at www.demolitionsummit.com or alternatively please contact me at steve.ducker@khl.com stating which categories you are interested in entering and I will send you the relevant forms.

With less than five weeks to go until the deadline, this is the ideal time to start thinking about which projects or products to submit for the 2020 Awards.

The World Demolition Awards are part of the World Demolition Summit, which is organised by Demolition & Recycling International in co-operation with the European Demolition Association and with the support of the National Demolition Association of the USA.

The headline sponsor is Volvo Construction Equipment. Shortlists will be announced in August with the awards themselves taking place on Thursday November 12.
