The meeting, held on 5 October in Dobris, Czech Republic, also saw the Committee discuss the outcomes of the Technical Workshop at the last ERA Convention. The questions asked to the groups during the workshop dealt with training and with new technologies in the rental business.

The Committee also reviewed the introduction of topics that could be of interest for the members of this working group in the future.

The day before, a round of face-to-face meetings were also organised. Twelve construction and access equipment manufacturers were invited to participate.

The face-to-face meetings usually gather four to five fleet managers of rental companies and representatives of one manufacturer. During the 90 minutes, they can discuss the different topics proposed by the rental companies. The content of those face-to-face meetings is confidential and the OEMs and the rental companies sign a non-disclosure agreement before each meeting.
