Bigge, one of the biggest crane rental companies in the US, has invested in hoists from Alimak Hek.

The company added Alimak Scando 650 and 450 models to its fleet due to growing demand for its hoist equipment.

The value of the order is SEK16.5 million (US$2 million). During Bauma, in April, Alimak marked the sale of a total of 100 hoists to Bigge, which was celebrating its centennial year at the show.

Commenting on the order, Fredrik Betts, global head of construction equipment at Alimak, said, “I am happy to continue our great partnership with Bigge in the US.”
