Richard Vann to give keynote at WDS 2017

Demolition & Recycling International (D&Ri) is delighted to announce that Richard Vann will give the keynote presentation at this year’s World Demolition Summit (WDS), which takes place at London’s Millennium Gloucester Hotel on November 2.

Richard Vann has been involved with demolition and decommissioning for 35 years

Richard is managing director of RVA Group – a specialist project management and engineering consultancy that has provided decommissioning, decontamination, dismantling and demolition support on more than 700 complex projects worldwide.

With more than 35 years industry experience, Richard is also past president of both the Institute of Demolition Engineers and the Institute of Explosives Engineers, and a presentation drawing on this knowledge promises a fascinating half hour for the 300-plus demolition contractors and other industry professionals expected to attend the event.

Project testimonials on its website include GlaxoSmithKline, Huntsman Petrochemicals, Barratt Homes and Tiejin Polycarbonate Singapore, while further clients listed include Eggborough Power, Rolls-Royce, Saint-Gobain, Bayer and Sellafield Ltd.

Richard’s own experience of the conference industry includes chairing a Power Station Decommissioning forum in Germany in June last year.

The WDS, which combines the one-day conference with a table top exhibition and evening awards dinner, is organised by D&Ri in cooperation with the European Demolition Association and with the support of the National Demolition Association of the USA.
