Netherlands-headquartered hydraulic crane manufacturer Hyva has launched the 19 to 21 tonne-metre class in its Edge Line of truck mounted cranes. Hyva announced the Edge Line at the Bauma 2019 trade show in Germany and, once all released, it will comprise 40 models.

There are 14 new models alone in the 19 to 21 tonne-metre class with five different boom configurations. There are two models with a telescopic boom; these have the designation HT. There are two models with a basic articulated boom; these have the designation HT. There are six double linkage articulated boom models; these are called HC. There are two double linkage, short retractive secondary boom models; these are called HC-K. And there are two double linkage endless slewing boom models; these have the designation HC-e.
Hyva said that, depending on the crane model, there are up to eight extensions available and a choice of jobs and winches. Operator assistance aids include Hyva’s Dynamic Load Diagram, which provides advance verification of crane’s lifting capacity based on the truck’s stability, and the Magic Touch automatic crane folding and unfolding function.
Hyva’s Edge Line is being produced at a new dedicated crane assembly line in Poviglio, Italy.
