Swiss crane and transportation service provider Matthey Petit has invested in a Demag AC 45 City mobile crane.

The Demag AC 45 City, which is 8.69 metres long and 2.55 metres wide, boasts a main boom length of 31.2 metres. Manufacturer Demag said that at 3.16 metres high, the model has the most compact dimensions in its 45 tonne capacity class.

The new mobile crane unit was handed over by Christian Kassner, Demag senior sales manager. According to Demag, the AC 45 City’s manoeuvrability and compact design were the main factors in Matthey Petit’s purchase decision.

Blaise Hochstrasser, Metthey Petit general manager, said, “The AC 45 City is so agile that we can use it pretty much anywhere – both for urban projects and indoor projects.”
