MRT contract for Xin Hwa

Malaysian transport company Xin Hwa Holdings has won a contract to deliver components to Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) – a major ongoing public transport infrastructure project in Kuala Lumpur.

Xin Hwa has been contracted to deliver large concrete beams, weighing up to 160 tonnes each, to various MRT construction sites.

To fulfil the contract, Xin Hwa Holdings has ordered more than a hundred THP/SL axle lines and additional spacers from German heavy-duty road haulage and oversized cargo transportation equipment specialist Goldhofer.

According to Goldhofer, the THP/SL vehicle combination with extendable spacers is well-suited for transporting long concrete beams.
