Pendular axles for trailer series

26 October 2020

Luxembourg-based trailer and semi-trailer brand Max Trailer, owned by trailer and semi-trailer manufacturer Faymonville, is now offering its Max510 low bed series with pendular axles.

The pendular axles are designed for use in difficult track and terrain conditions. According to Max Trailer a total stroke of 600 mm, combined with the pendulum movement of the axles, means any uneveness in the terrain is absorbed and the vehicle remains stable and balanced.

The pendular axles provide a payload capacity of up to 12 tonnes per axle line and have a steering angle of 60 degrees to aid manoeuvrability. A detachable gooseneck is designed to facilitate smooth loading from the front.

Max Trailer said the modular nature of its trailers means they share common parts, providing users with increased interchangeability options and decreased expenditure.

Max Trailer said has 45 partners in its international sales network which it said it is actively looking to expand.
