Hovago Cranes in the Netherlands has appointed two new members to its management team.
Marcel Riemslag has been promoted from sales manager to general manager. He joined Hovago in 2000. Before that he worked in the mobile crane and lifting industry, in sales engineering and sales management at Manitowoc Europe.
Robert Hermans, Hovago Cranes
Robert Hermans joined Hovago as international sales manager on 1 July. His appointment “will strengthen Hovago’s management team, enabling the company to better serve its customers and further professionalize its global business,” the company said.
Hermans had international commercial management and senior management jobs in the automotive industry, commercial vehicles and forklift trading. He is a graduate of Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
Netherlands-based Hovago Cranes has taken delivery of five new Liebherr all terrain cranes. The machines include an LTM 1160-5.1, an LTM 1200-5.1, two LTM 1220-5.2s and a fully-equipped 500 tonne capacity LTM 1500-8.1
Netherlands-based Hovago has ordered nine all terrains from Terex Cranes. The contract inlcudes the following models: AC 50-1, AC 100, AC 200-1 and AC 350/6. Most of them are destined for projects in Europe and South America, said the company
