Based in Paderborn, in the North Rhine-Westphalia, M+S Arbeitsbühnen has a team of 11 employees and a fleet of more than 110 aerial lifting platforms up to 35m and telescopic forklifts.

This deal further strengthens Kiloutou’s presence in the German market, following the acquisition of Starlift in 2016, Butsch-Meier in May 2018 and GL Verleih NRW in July 2018, and it forms part of the company’s international expansion plan that spans Poland, Spain, Italy and Germany.

Olivier Colleau, Executive President of the Kiloutou Group, said, “This acquisition is fully in line with Kiloutou’s development strategy in Germany, which aims to spread our presence in new areas with high potential. It also illustrates our ability to realise our development plans, adding quality regional stakeholders with a strong local presence.”

He added, “Through such an approach, we plan to be present in the major parts of Germany through selected acquisitions. I would like to warmly welcome the 11 team members from M+S Arbeitsbühnen into the Kiloutou group. ”

Frank Schniedermeier, Managing Director of M+S Arbeitsbühnen, said of the acquisition, “It will enable our company to contribute to the fast growth of the group with our strong knowledge of the high potential market in the East Part of the North Rhine-Westphalia. I personally believe in the Kiloutou development project in the German market and I am pleased to support it by joining the group.”

He said it would boost M+S Arbeitsbühnen’s presence in the region and the branch would benefit from new investment and a wider range of aerial work platforms.
