Bobcat's four new rotary telehandlers
12 April 2010
Bobcat will be launching four rotary telehandlers at Bauma: the smallest, the TR35160, has a maximum lifting height of 15.7 m and features a two-section telescopic boom, while the TR45190, TR50210 and TR40250 models have three-section booms, with lifting heights of 18.7, 20.5 and 24.5 m, respectively.
The smallest machine rotates 400 deg and the rest 360 deg; the machines can be set up quickly and are designed to be very stable lifting heavy materials either vertically up to a roof or horizontally onto the edge of an excavated site.
The TR50210 model pictured has a maximum lifting capacity of 5 t and a maximum outreach of 18.1 m, the telehandler can lift to 20.5 m on stabilisers and 20.3 on tyres. The stabilisers are independently and hydraulically actuated. The TR50210 has a top travel speed of 40 Km/h and weighs 17.2 t unladen.
The rotating telehandlers can be supplied with a variety of Bobcat attachments, including man platforms, extension jibs, buckets and pallet forks for transporting bricks and other materials.
