“Question of the month”

20 March 2008

In May CE asked how many of its respondents went to the Bauma exhibition, held in Munich at the end of April. The show was attended by more than 500000 visitors, and it certainly seemed popular with CE readers, with 48% of respondents to May's survey saying they went there.

In addition to these, several said they had planned to go to Bauma, but were not able to in the end because of other work commitments. Several of those that did attend made the comment – perhaps unsurprisingly – that the exhibition was too big. Suggestions for tackling this ranged from extending the duration of the event, although it is already a week long, to breaking it up into a series of smaller, more focused shows.
