The next Convention of the European Rental Association is to be held in the UK, announced ERA president Gerard Deprez at last week’s ERA Convention in Amsterdam.

However, a date and venue for the event has still to be confirmed. Michel Petitjean, ERA’s secretary general, said it was premature to say even where the event will be held, although London is an obvious candidate. The details of next year’s event will be determined at the ERA’s next board meeting on 2 July.

The ERA’s third convention was a great success, with over 350 delegates registered for the various workshops and committee meetings and over 200 attending the main ERA plenary session. The first European awards dinner – jointly organized by International Rental News and ERA – was attended by over 430 people.

See the June issue of IRN for the full report on the convention and IRE exhibition.
