2010 Demolition awards website goes live

15 January 2010

www.demolitionawards.com, the website for the 2010 annual World Demolition Awards, has now gone live. The 2010 awards will be presented during the World Demolition Summit, which will be held at the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam on 4-5 November 2010.

The website contains all the information you need to help you put together your entries for these prestigious awards, including guidance on how to make your entries and the criteria that will be used by the international judging panel that will assess each entry. Entry forms for the Awards can also be downloaded from the site.

Closing date for entries for the 2010 Awards is Friday July 30 2010, and no entries will be accepted after this date. Go to www.demolitionawards.com for further information.

Of particular note is the fact that we have added a new project category to the 2010 Awards that is aimed specifically at demolition companies who have carried work on civil engineering projects such as bridges on road and rail projects that previously were not adequately covered by the 2009 project categories.

The 2010 event, organised by D&Ri and supported by the EDA, follows on from the highly successful inaugural 2009 event, also held in the Hotel Okura, which saw demolition companies from around the world recognised by their peers in the industry for their professionalism and expertise across a range of categories.
