German truck mount specialist Ruthmann has announced that 2011 saw the highest value sales in the company's history. Approximately 500 units were delivered worth €75.7million, that is a sales increase of nearly 30% from 2010.

Operating profits too were reported to have reached an "all-time high."

Managing director, Rolf Kulawik said, "This is a very encouraging development of which we are extremely proud. In addition to our TB-series (TB 220, TB 270 and TBR 200), the new Steiger T 330 and T 285 have definitely contributed to this huge increase in turnover. While many orders came from our core German market, our export figures have never been higher.

"Municipal business has also picked up considerably especially since we acquired Time VERSALIFT Deutschland GmbH. New records were also set by our service department. We would like to take this time to thank our customers for the monumental success we have achieved".

In 2012, Ruthmann anticipates further growth in all areas with a new machine range being launched at Intermat.

General sales manager, Uwe Strotmann said, "With the new Height Performance series, our customers will be able to access unprecedented working-area dimensions. The many new advance orders confirm that we are on the right course. We look forward to the world premiere at Intermat 2012 with great anticipation".

Business administration manager, Uwe Stapper added, "In 2012, Ruthmann, will boost investment in personnel across Germany and make further ecological and energy-efficient advancements. Several projects, including Ökoprofit (Ecoprofit), have already been launched."
