Global Crane Sales has introduced the Zoomlion QUY350 Crawler Crane to the North American market.

The 385 US ton (350 tonne) capacity crane is suited to a range of applications, including general construction and windmill erection, as well as oil refinery and powerplant work. With ANSI certification, the QUY350 upholds the strictest engineering and design standards, says Global.

The model's 11 boom configurations and five hookblocks come as standard. The boom is constructed using European high-strength steel, says the company, to provide greater lifting capacities at lighter boom weights.

The main boom has a 285 foot (87 m) lifting height. With luffing jib, lifting height reaches 340 feet (104 m). When combined with superlift counterweight and luffing jib, the lift height increases to 540 feet (167 m). The machine can lift more than 16,000 pounds (7.25 tonnes) at maximum boom length.

All Zoomlion cranes undergo strict load testing including rated, dynamic, static and traveling, and are ANSI-certified, says Global, which set up its partnership with Zoomlion at the beginning of 2011.
